Vacation - Day to Play

Monday - we took the kids to play at a nice playground and lake area that was built behind a new Bass Pro Shop. We had a good time and the weather was perfect. We had a picnic and got to see some ducks and a geese family with about 4 babies. It was such a fun day.

Practicing

Summer is here. Both want to play t-ball this summer, so we have been practicing. Shane will be pitched to, so we have been working on that. And, of course, Lindsey wants to do that too, even though her team will use the T. They are both excited, but Lindsey is especially excited as she missed the cut off last year by a month and couldn't play. There will be 4 games through the month of June.

Bunny Fun

We have built quite the little "hutch" for Rooney and Cutie Pie. It has separate sleeping quarters for a little privacy. They have a lot of room to romp and play. We know that they are both "girls" contrary to what Shane thinks. Ha! But we are really enjoying them! Here are some photos.

Happy Easter

The kids both loved the many Easter egg hunts they had. Their basket's were over flowing! The rain held off just long enough for them to hunt, but for the middle of April, it was quite cool. Didn't bother them though!! After our last "hunt" of the day at Grandma and Grandpa's house, they had fun exploring the farm. The baby calves were much entertainment!

Junior Handler

The kids love walking Brady. He adores them and they reallly have fun together. Brady is a brown standard poodle. He is almost 4 months old and he weighs about 35 lbs and is about 18" tall to his shoulder.

New Do!

I forgot to mention that Shane decided he wanted a short hair cut... very short! He sure looks different. This was done around March 26. He went to the barber with Daddy and was pretty much "buzzed". He loves that it's so easy to take care of. Today (April 11), it's already noticeably growing out though. It's fun to rub his head. Ha!

Easter Eggs

This was the first time we dyed Easter eggs. We had a lot of fun with it! We first colored the eggs and then used some stickers to decorate them even more.
